Good morning,
Christians in a land of "milk and honey "..

Have we been so blessed, so comfortable in our "church culture" that we are at best :
of Laodicean heart?
Are we cavalier.." lukewarm" about our worship and the works of The SPIRIT, in our spirit..our Walk?
Are our pursuits and cares shifting toward the world...and away from our "First Love"?
It is mind boggling that the tendency of man is to sit back and be comfortable in the blessings of our GOD on this earth...
and yet with "a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep :
so shall poverty come as one travelleth,
and thy want as an armed man."
Christian, it is our diligence , our currency, to ever seek The Will of GOD , First !..
in All we do !
Do not forget in your comfort..
The LORD ,
or even for a moment,
shelve him in the closet of your life..your heart.
" Beware that thou forget not The LORD thy GOD..
lest when thou hast eaten and art full,
and hast built goodly houses..
thine heart be lifted up,
* and thine heart forget the LORD thy GOD *,
which brought you forth out of bondage.."
Is this "condition" of heart not insidious ?
Hear our High Priest JESUS CHRIST speak to this ..warn us :
" ' be Watchful, and strengthen the things which remain,
* that are ready to die *..
thou are neither cold nor hot..
because thou are lukewarm,
I will spew thee out of my mouth.'"
The LORD has called us out, and has given us the : *desires of our hearts*
when we stand in HIS Will ..
HIS Purpose...HIS Presence.
Beloved, be ever in communion with The LORD...be not at comfort ,
fold not your hands ..for there is much to be done as The DAY approaches..
make HIM your morning , your day and your evening...
and walk thereof.
Christian, Nothing of this world gives everlasting rest and comfort..
ever embrace : our True Rest is in the Day of JESUS CHRIST.

Calvary Chapel was formed as a fellowship of believers under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. We are a welcoming church where you will find in-depth teaching and friendly people.

We are a non-denominational church. We believe that the only true basis of Christian fellowship is God’s Agape love, which is greater than any differences we possess, and without which we have no right to claim ourselves Christians.
