The Separated unto JESUS CHRIST.

Brethren, we must ever be prudent as to our company and our surroundings. The "world" is ever ready to agressively show concession to our hearts with fleshly lures and spiritual beguiling...ever a press from around us to compromise, fulfill our hidden lusts..excuse our disobedience.
The Psalmist tells us :
" Blessed is the man that walketh NOT in the counsel of the ungodly,
nor standeth in
*the way of sinners*,
nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful."
Look to Lot, he "pitched his tent toward Sodom " and he never truly recovered from it's influence, nor did his line continue in righteousness...but failure.
Who and what we allow as conscious or unconscious influence,
whether it be "friends" or the media, our place of living, it has Life consequences...eternal Life consequences ! We must be prudent and circumspect...
Paul quotes The LORD even more succinctly :
"'COME OUT from among them,
and Be ye Separate,' saith The LORD,
'and touch Not the unclen thing;
and I will receive you.'"
Yes, we are in the world during this pilgrimage...but Beloved we must be diligent to Not be of it!
Our first fellowship is to be with CHRIST and to walk as HE walked...
to search HIM as The WAY and stay to it..HE is Truth,
and..we forget not to surround ourselves with The Saints, for :
" He that walketh with wise men shall be wise : but the companion of fools (no GOD!) shall be destroyed."
understanding that :
" iron sharpenth iron;
so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend ".
Christian, do not compromise..
do not pitch your tent toward Babylon...
COME OUT !

Calvary Chapel was formed as a fellowship of believers under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. We are a welcoming church where you will find in-depth teaching and friendly people.

We go beyond just meeting on Sundays. Our church family equips and encourages one another to know Christ and to be conformed into His image by the power of the Holy Spirit.
