Your Daily Devotional

Children of GOD,

" As you are, so were they ;
* each one resembled the Children(Sons) of a King.* "
A pagan pair of the world's kings described the people of Manasseh as they looked upon Gideon , the representative of GOD's presence, as he appeared..
as "Sons of a King".
It recognizes their unique countenance that carried a special aura
a "presence" ...
The Presence of THE KING of All things ! ..The Hand of GOD.
This then is the question.
Do we, Christian, appear to all as "The Sons of The Living King ?
Does our light, JESUS' Light, so shine in us, that all can but know we are HIS People... are we bold in this?
Does " the LORD lift up HIS Countenance upon us .."?
Is the unspoken Power of Salvation ,
that radiance of The Indwelt SPIRIT flow through us..
in all we do... all we are?
When we stand before the world..
do they recognize : as with Peter and John before the sanhedrin :
"the boldness of our hearts,
that no matter our position or education or station in this world, that they will marvel...perceive..see in our countenance...that we are with JESUS."?
This is our commission..it is The Blessing... The mark of CHRIST upon us...let us, with confidence hold this Truth :
" from now on let no one trouble us,
for we bear in our bodies the marks of The LORD JESUS CHRIST."
When we are HIS...all will know !
We glow in CHRIST JESUS.

Calvary Chapel was formed as a fellowship of believers under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. We are a welcoming church where you will find in-depth teaching and friendly people.

We are a non-denominational church. We believe that the only true basis of Christian fellowship is God’s Agape love, which is greater than any differences we possess, and without which we have no right to claim ourselves Christians.
